How parents can assist students in achieving better learning
-
Encourage practice: Apart from practicing in the dance studio, parents can encourage students to practice and stretch at home. Stretching can improve the range of motion and improve movement lines. Through practice, students can master dance movements and improve their confidence in class and performance.
-
Provide positive encouragement: When students encounter difficulties during practice, parents can provide positive encouragement and support to let students know that their efforts are valuable. Encourage students not to give up easily.
-
Establish good learning habits: Learning to dance requires patience and perseverance, and parents can help their children establish good learning habits, such as practicing at a fixed time every day or regularly attending dance classes. Through long-term learning, students can continuously improve and gain a deeper understanding and interest in dance.
-
Provide dance-related resources: Parents can help students find dance-related resources, such as instructional videos, dance music, or dance performance videos. Through these resources, students can better understand dance techniques and styles, and also inspire their passion for dance.

When students encounter difficulties during learning, parents can provide positive encouragement and support to let students know that their efforts are valuable. For example, "I see that you are working very hard to learn, this movement may be a bit difficult, but you are doing great! I think you can practice this movement a bit more, and you will be able to do even better!" These words can make students feel recognized and supported, and also provide suggestions for students to further their learning and improve their skills. Parents can also communicate with teachers to understand and help their children better.
